- : The problem I am experiencing is that when I install the A3640 in my
- : A3000 (desktop), my hard drive disappears. When I remove the 3640 it
- : reappears. My current setup is as follows:
-
- : A3000 16M/2M
- : Kickstart 3.1 ROMs
- : Rev. -08 WD SCSI
- : Rev. -11 Buster
- : Rev. -04 DMAC
- : Rev. -07 Ramsey
-
- : With the board installed, the hard drive doesn't even show up on the
- : boot menu. I have checked everything that was suggested by those who
- : responded to my previous post including SCSI termination (most often
- : cited as a possible cause for this).
-
- I have a similiar setup (A3000 16 Mhz 2+12 MB page mode ram, kick 3.1
- scsi -08, buster -06) After installing the a3640 rev. 3.2, my screen
- goes all red and the led blinks/ the machine crashes. I first did not
- plug in the board deep enough but that should not have done any harm.
- Any ideas?
